PACE is led by a dedicated team of experienced individuals who are all passionate about changing for the better. The Senior Management team is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operational management and development of the organisation, upholding the organisation’s mission, vision and values. This experienced team provide advice and support on all PACE activities including, governance, financial management, project management, HR, legal and policy.
Maggie started her career in the private sector working in customer services, sales and marketing before starting her own business as a Training Consultant. Maggie has been working for PACE for 10 years, firstly as Training and Social Enterprise Manager and was recently promoted to CEO. During her first role in PACE, Maggie was instrumental in setting up PACE Social Enterprise including The Mug Shot coffee businesses which was established to provide jobs for people with criminal records who otherwise would find it difficult to secure employment in the labour market. Maggie’s work has been recognised nationally and internationally through awards such as European Network of Social Integration Enterprises (ENSIE) – Work Integrated Social Enterprise (WISE) Manager of the Year Award, 2020; and, Humanitarian of the year Award – Innovation for Change – (nominee and runner-up) Irish Red Cross, 2019. Maggie has a Masters in Social Science (Rights & Social Policy) and is currently working towards PhD researching labour market activation options for young people in the criminal justice system.
Clare joined PACE in 2016 as an Administrative Manager, leaving behind 13 years in the educational sector. Throughout her career, Clare’s ongoing interest in continuing her education and gaining further knowledge has equipped her to oversee the organisations marketing, technology, financial and facilities management. While Clare tends to be a behind-the-scenes player at PACE her efforts and contributions are vital. Whether she’s preparing payroll, managing budgets or making sense of complicated administrative duties and tasks.Clare is a respectful and is a respected team player and is comfortable liaising at all levels working collaboratively to support the continuous development of the organisation ensuring the effective delivery of services and its goals.
Hilary is PACE’s Prevention Manger leading her team to prevent further harm in the community with the preventative work that they do. Hilary has over 20 years’ experience in the field of both Social Care and Psychotherapy within Homeless services. Her vast experience in dealing with people with complex and challenging needs is a vital asset to PACE and its clients. Hilary is known for her strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport. She fosters a positive and productive work environment at all times and her management skills are utilised in taking tasks from concept to reality.
PACE welcomed Sarah as its new Accommodation Services Manager in March 2024. Sarah has worked in the social care sector across the board for a little over 8 years in the areas of such as Homelessness, Addiction and Aftercare. During this time Sarah has worked with many young people and adults who have been in care and have come through the Irish prison system. Sarah has vast experience having worked across community-based projects, specialising in residential care, mental health support for adults and aftercare. She has a keen interest in working with adults who have experienced childhood trauma and adversity. Main areas of interest for Sarah are mental health, addiction, dual diagnosis and housing amongst vulnerable adults. Sarah is passionate about the work she does and delivering the outcomes to each individual.
Pearse was appointed Training and Social Enterprise Manager with PACE in 2024 having served as Sales and Marketing Executive since joining the organisation in 2022. His first employment in the social enterprise sector was in 2015 through his work with Speedpak Group. He holds an M.Sc. in Multimedia Systems from Trinity College Dublin and an MBA from the Open University. With training in both business management and design, his career background has a strong creative focus. He has worked primarily as an independent consultant, providing design project management, website development, online content creation and product design services across a range of industries and sectors. He has extensive experience in working with entrepreneurs and provides consulting and coaching to start-up business owners. He is also a trained horticulturist and an avid gardener.
