Woodwork

This training is suitable for those who wish to equip themselves with the knowledge, skill and competence to use woodwork tools and equipment safely and to plan, design and carry out basic woodcraft assignments. Trainees will be trained and certified to use a range of woodcraft hand tools, sanders and equipment to carry out a range of woodwork assignments. Work as part of a team to learn from or Instructors, assist our Social Enterprise operatives to craft and finish customers orders.

Metalwork

It's not difficult to work with metal, but, it requires specific skills and specialised tools. Trainee's can expect to learn a range of metalwork skills like scrolling, how to use light bench tools, equipment as well as lathes, drills and milling equipment. You will work with various forms of metal and assist in powder coating a range of produce for our customer base.

Horticulture

The aim of this programme is to equip trainees with the knowledge, skill and competency to achieve, Identify and list the tools, material and equipment required to perform basic ground maintenance while being able to accurately describe how soil and weather conditions can have an affect on the use of different horticulture equipment and tools, Trainees will be trained and certified to use a range hand and power tools and equipment to carry out a range of horticultural tasks.

Barista Training

This course gets you up and running with all the key skills you need to operate a coffee machine, from setting your grinder for perfect coffee extraction, foaming your milk for the full range of café drinks, through to care and maintenance. Barista training gives you the skills you need to make amazing coffee and be customer care lead.

IT, Communications, Art & Craft

PACE provide a range of alternate training options: art and design, communications, interpersonal and computer skills. The aim of this training is to provide a supported environment for people who want to change their lives after a criminal conviction.
PACE offers fully accredited courses along with individual programme planning for each participant which includes CV preparation, interview skills and employability skills. We also have access to funding for participants to achieve Safepass, Manual Handling and various other external courses that you have an interest in.
